Review: (#1) For a film that doesn’t seem as action-packed as the trailer suggests, this poster is mostly misleading. It also doesn’t tell the audience enough about the time period in which it’s set.

(#2) There’s an action center, but it’s surrounded by dullness, not just in the clouds, but in the actors’ expressions.

Review: (#1) There are some action elements in the trailer that makes this film’s place and setting feel ill-fitting and the performances don’t look particularly engaging. The whole affair doesn’t have a lot going for it thanks to this unimpressive trailer.

(#2) There’s something a little more thrilling about this version of the trailer, which admittedly doesn’t do much differently than the first film. Perhaps cutting out some of the exposition makes it more enticing, but that cannot bode well for the film itself.

Oscar Prospects:

It wasn’t a huge hit out of the festival circuit, but had a few positive responses and some of the effects looks solid, though perhaps not solid enough to merit Visual Effects consideration.
