Poster Rating: C

Review: Nice, vibrant shades of pink and purple with neon lettering isn’t well detailed or incredibly exciting, but it’s noticeable.

Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) You could throw Elle Fanning in anything and I would be interested in seeing it. Her broad and eclectic taste in projects makes her one of the most maverick young actors working in Hollywood. Ignoring all that, the trailer has an eclectic feel to it and looks a bit different than everything else we’re seeing, along with some traditional narrative embellishments. That could boost its box office chances on the specialty circuit.

(#2) In a provocative and niche way, Teen Spirit looks like the kind of movie we don’t often get out of the indie circuit, but which also feels like an organic part of it. The music and the situations all seem most intriguing.
