Poster Rating: B

Review: If the trailer or any other material could show us what the flag of this pseudo-futuristic story looked like, then the poster might be a bit more evocative. It does look somewhat like the American flag and the inversion aspect of the poster (putting the field of stars in the lower right instead of upper left) does add some interesting elements to a poster that could just have been another simplistic way to display characters/actors.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: I feel the same way about the trailer as I do about the poster. I’m completely split on whether the film will be good or not. It features some questionably-talented people who’ve had maybe one acting success each (and in the case of Seann William Scott, none), but the futuristic, semi-Orwellian society depicted raises my interest level.

Oscar Prospects:

George Orwell this isn’t. And that fact, paired with the overly-comedic style of the trailer, it’s doubtful we’ll see this performing well anywhere outside of the box office.
