Review: (#1) There’s something funny going on with this film and the trailer lightly touches on it, but it focuses so much on set up that it doesn’t do its best job of engaging the viewer.
(#2) This black-and-white trailer is meant to harken back to the schlocky sci-fi films of the 1950s and 1960s, but looks more like The Day the Tribbles Stood Still crossed with Attack of the Killer Poufs. The tones don’t quite blend well enough in the second trailer.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
