Review: (#1) Crass in a juvenile way, which may fit the film itself, but with such an awful, flat background, nothing little looks appealing.

(#2) Still juvenile, but more detailed than its predecessor. The sales of this movie, though, will come from the trailers, not the posters, which are barely serviceable.

Trailer Rating: B / B / B+

Review: (#1) When the trailer starts, you have a modest inkling of where things are going, but once it hits the kitchen scene, all bets are off and you discover that this seems to be far more than your typical animated film. It’s raunchiness hits you like a frying pan, but with enough butter and garlic to feel palatable.

(#2) There aren’t many differences between the two trailers, but what is there show a movie that is so unapologetic that it looks like it could be a classless, but humorous production.

(#3) The trailers haven’t been nearly as funny as they need to be, but this one is genuinely humorous and more than delivers with the questionable content that the Red Band element forewarns. This could be an utterly tasteless laugh fest and this trailer does a very good job conveying that to the audience.

Oscar Prospects:

An animated feature this raunchy and crass is unlikely to earn an Oscar nomination.
