Review: (#1) If it weren’t for the excessive white space, this might be a compelling poster.

(#2) The imbalance of having large, bold text over a uninteresting backdrop and a ill-fitting central figure makes for a rather dull experience. (#3) There isn’t a lot here worth seeing, but kudos to whomever made the lipstick title look like it has some depth and texture to it. It almost makes up for the dullness of the rest of the design.

Trailer Rating: B+ / A-

Review: (#1) The potency of this trailer is how it manages to set up expectations and then blow them down in a short span and highlight the necessity of the entirety.

(#2) There are just a couple of moments in this trailer that play poorly, but for the most part, this looks to be a fascinating film as presented in the trailer. The musical queues are genius and the way the trailer is cut together make it all look rather engaging.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
