Poster Rating: C-

Review: Broad comedy is what the poster suggests, though it’s rather rudimentary and pathetically juvenile at the same time. The basketballs just grate on my nerves and the rather ludicrous poses of the actors provides little comfort to them.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: Looking like an amalgam of Dodgeball and Moonlight Mile, this film about rivalry between the young and the old is just one more reason for Billy Bob Thornton to stretch is serious-comic muscles.

Oscar Prospects:

I just can’t see Oscar voters putting this one in their DVD player better yet recognizing it at with Academy Award nods.
