Review: (#1) A close-up of a jewel-encrusted crown looks garish and uninspiring. There’s just not enough in this to make it feel necessary. (#2) There’s quite a bit more here, but it looks like a cheap amalgam of all the actors without a sense of purpose or scope.

Review: A look at the building women’s rights movement surrounding the Miss World competition of 1970. There are some interesting elements to the trailer that make this seem like it could have some strong feminist sensibilities, but the cheesy Greg Kinnear impersonation of Bob Hope suggests the whole thing might not be up to audience expectations.
