Poster Rating: B; C+

Review: This poster definitely tells us all we probably need to know about this horror film set in a subway. The poster is certainly tantalizing for any horror fans. We’ll have to see a trailer before knowing too much more.

Alongside the trailer, the poster is entirely fitting and captures a moment of the film that might put fear into the hearts of some cinemagoers. However, by itself, I can’t imagine anyone being too enthused about seeing the film. The first poster did far better in that department.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: I’m torn between morbid curiosity and abject revulsion. I shouldn’t expect much from the film as horror films have been severely disappointing of late, but I do love how Clive Barker has created a truly terrifying glimpse into the world of a serial killer and this trailer makes the film look like it might do for subways what Jaws did for swimming in the ocean.

Oscar Prospects:

Subway Oscar horror? Jarrod will stop being an annoying spokesperson before the genre gets any consideration.
