Review: (#1) Interesting color choices and a visual distinctiveness uncommon in modern poster design, but the ultimate result isn’t that impressive. (#2) If you know and or care about Jerry Lewis, this poster should be all the impetus you need. That doesn’t make it very much to look at.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: A meandering trailer that tries to set the film up as some magnum opus for its star without feeling like it’s a film that needs to be seen.

Oscar Prospects:

You might take the presence of long-dormant Jerry Lewis as a potential Oscar threat, but Labor Day weekend releases are usually dead ends for Oscar consideration as most people are busy enjoying the last holiday until November.
