Review: The poster is certainly patriotic and undeniably a part of an artistic style popular during Carter’s presidency. However, the poster doesn’t give the audience more than a cursory idea what the film’s about, which could be sufficient for most.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: This certainly looks to be an intriguing film. To hear about the post-presidential life of Jimmy Carter and what led him to become only the third United States president to win the Nobel Peace Prize. His humanitarian work and attempts to point to where the country has gone wrong seem all too important to pass up.

Oscar Prospects:

This could be a big ticket for Oscar voters. It helps them feel good about their choice while steering clear of the many more controversial pics that are bound to earn nominations.
