Review: (#1) There just isn’t much to this design that will curry favor with a reticent viewer. Only Isabelle Huppert fans might show interest and their discerning taste won’t make this design look impressive.

(#2) This more vibrant design tries very hard to position the characters walking in the fading light of day, though the effort is largely for naught since the whole thing looks entirely fake and overly composed.

Review: A number of films have tried to suggest a sprawling family saga played out at a rural estate that this film feels like something we’ve seen too many times with nothing to distinguish it from others or establish its own path.
