Review: It always startles me just how many films are set during World War II. Not Vietnam. Not Korea. Not World War I. Just World War II. I get that it was a generation’s biggest event, but the material has been mined extensively and there isn’t much more worth examining. This trailer is a perfect example of how to exemplify that notion without adhering to it.
