Review: This poster is far too glossy for a film about abduction and torture. The faux tear streak is completely antithetical to the soulless, unafraid eye. There’s nothing captivating to it.

Trailer Rating: B; C-

Review: It’s another case of trailer ruining a teaser. The teaser is engaging and suspenseful and you are curious as to what the film is truly about. Then you get the trailer.; The trailer gives away much of the film’s premise. This is both a good and a bad thing. The bad part is that the film looks horrendously similar to Saw and its sequels. There’s very little in it to suggest much more than that. The good thing is that by knowing this information, it’s much easier to avoid seeing it.

Oscar Prospects:

More horror, more excuses I have to find why it’s not a contender.
