Review: (#1) A simple design that reminds of many other recent horror film posters, which isn’t terribly interesting. (#2) The background is attempting to be a counterpoint to the villainy at the fore, but the cheap-looking puppet design undercuts the intention. (#3) The extreme closeup might work better if it weren’t accentuated by the cheap-looking blood running down the knife with an equally cheap-looking visage reflected in it. (#4) Trying to play on the Sesame Street Oscar the Grouch character for something a bit more evil, doesn’t work that well.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: There are cheesy horror films and then there are bargain-basement cheesy horror films. This one seems content to count itself as part of the inferior group, not the superior. The trailer suggests a terrible blend between Child’s Play and Trick or Treat.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
