Review: If you’re already familiar with Richard Linklater’s rotoscoping features, then you’ll either be instantly impressed or immediately nonplussed. This trailer does present a rather strong narrative through line while feeling unnecessarily absurd.

Oscar Prospects:

It could be a Best Animated Feature nominee, though rotoscope animation has struggled with the Academy, so perhaps not.
