Synopsis:
From IMDb: “Gutterbee is a character driven comedy about sausages and friendship. Set in small-town America, it’s a story about two hopeless dreamers who join forces in a quest to erect the ultimate German sausage restaurant. Gutterbee is also a social satire about the nexus of identity fear, where religion becomes an intellectual cul-de-sac, and racism, homophobia and intolerance reign supreme.”

Review: (#1) Thematically, it fits, but the lack of background detail, the faux weathering, and the harsh color scheme make for a unappealing effort. (#2) The lack of background details aren’t the least bit improved by the cowboy riding a sausage.

Review: Slapstick and sparring comedies all need a driving force that makes the audience both get invested in and laugh. This trailer cannot seem to find its way to a point where the viewer exclaims that they are excited about it.
