As the precursor awards continue unabated until Oscar night, I’m going to be providing a weekly update highlighting the films that have won and lost momentum through the precursor awards (and in some cases other outside influences).
A grand total of two precursors actually announced in the last week, the Columbus critics and the Chicago Independent critics. That’s not a lot to go off of, so I’ll leave this week’s winners and losers aside and return to it next week, after which a ludicrous number of groups are likely to have announced as listed below.
